Important Announcement for International Students

According to Articles 16 and 18 of the “Regulations for Facilitating the Admission of International Students,” approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on 2 June 2024, and based on the official notifications received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the following points are hereby announced:

1. Academic Visa Issuance Without Leaving Iran

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has designated the Kish Free Trade–Industrial Zone as the official location for obtaining academic (student) visas without leaving the country.
This service is available to all international students (male and female) from all countries.

2. Free Document Verification

According to the Cabinet resolution (Article 9, Note 3), the verification of documents for international applicants requesting an academic visa will be carried out free of charge by the authorized offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

International students are kindly requested to take note of the above information.
